Short hiatus
February 3, 2007I’m thinking really long and hard about this whole Blogger thing over the weekend. I’ve been really frustrated with the whole experience this week due to malfunctions and growing pains with the switch to a Google/Blogger setup. I was even chatting with my friend Mo about all of this tonight. We’re both big Blogger fans and some of the first to convert to Beta. We’re both feeling frustrated and a bit let down.
I’m researching my options and giving a lot of thought about where I go from here.

WordPress is not without it’s issues either. You have a max of 50mb for your blog before you have to start to pay so if you post a lot of pics, it can be difficult. Also side bar options are another thing that you can not change unless you pay for it.

I like popping in on your blog. But then again, I can always pop in on you on gmail chat.

You can’t leave us!! I understand with all the problems with Blogger. I have had difficulties leaving comments on many who are still on blogger.
I know everyone who moved to WordPress are happy, but Mikey’s comment regarding paying for certain services defeats the purpose of writing “freely.”
